Who we are
Butlr is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry we typically collect your name, email, telephone number, the reason you are getting in touch, and a short message.
If you visit the website we may also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar device data. Google processes some of this as a measurement processor under Consent Mode, including when analytics cookies are not stored, as described in our cookies policy.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries and to let interested people know when Butlr is ready.
After a successful enquiry we send Google a cookieless generate_lead ping with only a form name (for example enquiry). That ping does not include your name, email, phone or message.
We do not sell your details. We only share them where needed to answer the request you made, to run measurement as described in the cookies policy, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to reply and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and complaint handling, typically up to six years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold, or ask us to correct it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
